I called American Ace Plumbing after a really bad experience with another well-known plumbing company that quoted me an absurdly high price mentioning dry wall has to be cut to fix it for a simple issue.

American Ace was a breath of fresh air. Fred, the plumber quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it within minutes, charging a fraction of the previous quote. No pressure, no upselling, and no scare tactics--just honest, efficient work.

We had a blocked drain that we couldn't clear ourselves, even with a snake, so we reached out to plumbers through Yelp's "get multiple quotes" feature. American Ace Plumbing responded quickly and had good reviews.

Fred used a much more powerful, professional-grade snake that reached far deeper than ours. 

Before starting, they prepped the area with a tarp and got straight to work on the open drain.

The entire job took less than an hour, including cleanup. The plumbers were extremely clean and respectful--they wore shoe covers and left the area clean when they were done.

I found Fred, the owner of American Ace Plumbing  via a Yelp request I submitted. My condo was built in 1992, so it's now that time when things need to be replaced or upgraded. Fred came by to see if he could identify the shower valve cartridge, but there were no markings as it is the original valve installed back in 1992. Fred let me know that he would need to cut a larger opening into the tile and then, cover it with a larger valve cover/ shower handle. He also let me know that I needed to have a backup plan, since I live in a 1/1, in the event it was more than just the valve that needed replacing. He said, "This could open up a whole can of worms." I am so grateful that Fred was honest and cared whether or not I had a bathroom to use, and made me aware that changing a shower valve is not like changing a bathroom sink faucet. This repair/replacement exceeded all my expectations and I am so very happy that I will not have to renovate my bathroom ahead of my timeline as that would be a big financial burden for me. 
Fred has also replaced a tub diverter, bathroom sink faucet, kitchen faucet and toilet. Every time it has been a timely response and quality work.

It was a Saturday afternoon and I noticed a big leak coming out next to the house in the backyard. I turned off the irrigation valve supply line and that didn't stop the leak. I called several plumbers. Left messages for all of them. No response. Then my phone rings and it was American ace. He was in the middle of a 75 water heater emergency and he couldn't help me but he gave the courtesy of a call back and even helped me diagnose over the phone. He directed me to go to the main meter by the side walk. He said about 2 feet or so away from there is a green box of some sort. There is a shutoff valve in the box which will shut off the irrigation supply line altogether. Sure enough it worked. And now that I knew it was irrigation and nothing more serious, I called my landscaper and he completed the repair. 
American ace demonstrated great service despite not actually doing the job. Calling back to at least acknowledge my call and taking time to help me over the phone is indicative of their company's work ethic and service. If I need a plumber in the future I'm calling them.

Such great service! Fred immediately returned my call regarding a malfunctioning thermostat and arrived the next day as promised. He determined a new thermostat was necessary and installed, checked its performance, and finished up all in less than 30 minutes.
